CHILDRESS — Childress County has been chosen as a possible site for the Misae Solar Park project, which would house 650,000 solar panels on 1,000 acres and cost an estimated $260 million to build.
The project would be one of the largest in the history of Childress County, creating 300 short-term construction jobs and 10 long-term operational jobs and would be located near the Tesla substation in Kirkland.
