CHILDRESS SOLAR PARK
324 MWdc
Childress Solar Park marked the first utility-scale solar farm in Childress County, the Panhandle, and one of the largest single-site solar projects in ERCOT at the time. Developed by Misae Investments, the 320 MWdc project was sold in 2018 to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and reached Commercial Operation (COD) in 2019.
This project established Childress County as a new clean energy hub, opening the door for future large-scale solar and datacenter investments.
